JAMES MILLER

Owner / Expat – 8+ years in Medellín

James brings more than 15 years of high-level real estate experience in emerging markets to Medellín’s dynamic property landscape. Now based in Envigado with his family, he combines a deep appreciation for local Colombian culture with a global investment perspective to guide clients through complex real estate markets.

James holds undergraduate degrees in Political Science and History from Fordham University, as well as a Master’s in International Relations from the City College of New York. Before establishing his presence in Antioquia, James built an extensive track record across the developing world — most prominently in Belize, where he continues to manage a full-service international law firm.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, James approaches his work with an unshakeable dedication and a fair dose of skepticism — a trait forged through a lifetime of loyal devotion to Cleveland sports.

His favorite thing about Colombia, and Medellín in particular, is of course, la gente. A close second is the beauty of Antioquia, which he takes advantage of as an avid hiker. For the past few years, he has run Caminatas con Pequeños, an initiative he founded to share the joy of nature and hiking with children.

Jane Díaz

Property Listings Manager / Expat – 8+ years in Medellín

Jane Díaz brings a rare blend of luxury property management expertise, legal operations experience, and cross-cultural advocacy to Medellín’s real estate market. Before transitioning her focus to Colombia, Jane spent many years managing properties in prestigious La Jolla, California—an experience that established her uncompromising standards for asset preservation, white-glove client service, and high-end residential operations.

Jane’s career spans over a decade of remote operations leadership, legal intake, and client coordination, including six years with the international law firm Wrobel & Co., LLP. Whether navigating complex contracts, managing multi-tier operational logistics, or resolving sensitive client escalations, Jane is known for her calm demeanor in high-stakes situations and her relentless focus on closing the loop.

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (and known affectionately to Spanish speakers as “Juanís”), Jane serves as a natural bridge between international investors, expat buyers, and local Colombian property owners. She earned her B.A. in Communications from the University of California, San Diego—where she was named a McNair Scholar—and is currently pursuing her MBA through Colorado State University. Warm, empathetic, and exceptionally sharp, Jane ensures every client feels understood, protected, and expertly guided through their real estate journey.
